Steam turbine blades require materials with properties such as corrosion resistance, high temperature resistance, fatigue resistance, and high strength. Therefore, commonly used alloys suitable for steam turbine blades include nickel-based alloys and titanium alloys.
Nickel-based alloys: Composed of nickel, chromium, molybdenum, cobalt, iron, etc., they exhibit excellent performance in high-temperature, high-pressure, and highly corrosive environments.
Titanium alloys: Composed of titanium, aluminum, iron, zirconium, etc., they feature low density, high specific strength, corrosion resistance, and high mechanical properties, and are generally used for low-temperature and medium-temperature steam turbine blades.
